Fort George

Fortica/Fort George named after the British King George III is a medieval fortress built by the British Royal Navy in 1813. and was the largest and most important fortification on the Island. Hidden in the forest of pine trees and cypresses that create cozy shade in summer days and romantic scenery, the fortress will surely invite everyone to peek behind its walls. Today it is used as a multi functional event space and a bastion of quality music, celebration and cuisine. It is also one of the most frequent attractions we visit on our tours.
