Mamma Mia Tour

Mamma Mia 2 was filmed on Vis?

If you are a Mamma Mia fan or you just want to walk the same roads that Pierce Brosnan or Amanda Seyfried walked, then this is the perfect tour for you. Despite the Movie, the places they choose to  film the scenes are breathtaking.
We will start the tour by walking through Vis town, where guests will have the opportunity to find out where some scenes from Mamma Mia II were filmed. Our great tour guide will share with them some legends, fun facts and interesting stories that were happening behind the scenes.
After Vis town we will jump into the boat and drive to Barjoška bay where the main scenes were shot in a film – but unfortunately production didn’t leave us with a lot of props that can be seen in the movie. However our tour guide will try to present to you all the things that were happening here.
After Barjoška we are going to Komiža – a famous small town well known for its long tradition in fishing. Here we will walk to Jastožera – a tavern where all Mamma Mia actors were eating and enjoying the magical sunsets.  This is also our last stop and after this we are going back to Vis.
In case of bad weather we will need to use car transportation which means that we won’t be able to visit Barjoška but we can include some other locations like Srebrna beach and I’m sure that they will enjoy it as well.
Here are some pictures

Meeting point is in our office. If you are staying out of Vis town, we can arrange pick up and drop off.

Barjoška bay

Barjoška bay, also known as Mamma Mia bay is located in the west of the island of Vis, 15 kilometers from the Vis city. This is the bay where the main scenes were shot in a film - but unfortunately production didn't leave us with a lot of props that can be seen in the movie. However our tour guide will try to present to you all the things that were happening here.

Komiža Town

Next stop is Komiža Town. Komiža is a small fishing town located at the foot of the Mt. Hum and is a very popular place to visit. It preserved it’s small town spirit and its interesting history is what makes it so attractive. Some scenes of the movie were also filmed here, which is not surprising since this small town is really picturesque. This would be our last stop and after this we are heading back to Vis town.
