Komiza
Komiza is the second largest place on the island of Vis with the population of about 1500 inhabitants. Until not long ago, the local people were primarily engaged in fishing and agriculture but nowadays people are more and more turning to tourism. Small fishing village – Komiza has developed into an exclusive tourist destination attracting more and more tourists with its non touched environment and its rich gastronomy. Despite new trends of modern time, memories of its fishing history, tools and fishing customs can still be found among the local population.
